GO Outdoors is pleased to announce the reopening of its ground floor in‑store café at GO Outdoors York Vangarde, now operated in partnership with The Little Yorkshire Coffee Company. The refreshed café ensures customers can continue to enjoy great-quality food and drink during their visit, with a full relaunch now live and a plan for seasonal menu changes.

Continuing the Yorkshire-based operator’s expansion and creating local jobs, the new operation was mobilised at short notice to maintain continuity for customers over the Christmas period. Despite opening just two days before Christmas Day, the transition was completed smoothly ensuring visitors could continue to enjoy a warm welcome during one of the busiest trading periods.

Nick Rowlands, director of property at GO Outdoors, said: “Delivering a consistent, high-quality customer experience is always a priority for us, especially during the Christmas season. The Little Yorkshire Coffee Company demonstrated exactly the professionalism and agility we needed, and we’re delighted to have them on board as our café partner in York.”

The Little Yorkshire Coffee Company, part of Event Mobiles Ltd, brings extensive experience across cafés, kiosks and event catering throughout Yorkshire. The business prides itself on supporting local suppliers, using coffee roasted in York, locally baked cakes, and employing a regional workforce.

As the café settles into full operation, the vendor will begin local recruitment to support ongoing growth.

Jason Greenwood, Director of The Little Yorkshire Coffee Company, said:“We were pleased to step in and support GO Outdoors at a crucial time. Our team worked incredibly hard to get the café up and running in just 48 hours. Partnering with a national retailer while championing our Yorkshire roots is something we’re very proud of.”

The company continues to expand its footprint across the region and is open to exploring additional café and hospitality partnerships as it grows.

The café will be open 9am – 5pm initially, with extended hours to suit seasonal trade.

The store’s address is Vangarde Shopping Park, Vangarde Way, Huntington, York, YO32 9AE.
