Gosh! FoodUK plant-based food brand, Gosh! has announced its latest packaging development, now featuring a plant points indicator on each of its core products. With new packaging and tasty recipe improvements, the brand continues its mission to support consumers in making healthier, more diverse choices through the natural wonders of veg.

The refreshed, vibrant design is being rolled out across the core Gosh! range, including Moroccan Spiced Falafel, Mediterranean Falafel, Sweet Potato Pakora, Beetroot Falafel and Spinach & Pine Nut Bites. Each product contains a minimum of six plant points by incorporating a mix of vegetables, legumes, grains, seeds, herbs, and spices, ensuring that every meal with Gosh! helps consumers meet their goal of 30 different plants per week.

To reinforce the brand’s 100% natural credentials and delicious flavour, new illustrations have been added to the packaging. Plant-based foods have historically faced negative taste perceptions, a key barrier the brand aims to overcome with its refreshed design.

While consumers have long been encouraged to eat their five-a-day, Gosh! is helping to pioneer a more holistic approach with plant points – the latest guideline that encourages people to eat at least 30 different plant foods per week for optimal holistic health. Each plant point represents one portion of fruit, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, and seeds, promoting a more diverse and nutrient-rich diet. This concept is gaining momentum as the industry moves beyond the five-a-day guideline, ensuring consumers get a broader spectrum of essential nutrients to support gut health, overall well-being, and long-term vitality.

Caroline Hughes, marketing director at Gosh!, comments: “At Gosh!, we believe eating more plants should be simple, delicious and make you feel good. This is why we’re championing ‘plant points’, helping consumers to easily add goodness to their plates. Last year alone, we proudly helped the nation eat 30 million plant points, positively impacting healthier diets, and with our new redesign, we’ve made tracking it easier than ever as part of our commitment to make plant-based eating accessible for everyone.”
