Gressingham Duck launches ‘Easy to Cook’ dish

Gressingham DuckSuffolk-based, Gressingham Duck®, is adding a brand new meal solution to its range of products, encouraging consumers to get inspired and cook duck at home.
Renowned for its range of fresh duck products and prepared dishes that make cooking duck at home quick and simple, Gressingham has launched its new ‘Easy to Cook’ Duck Breast with Plum & Hoisin Sauce.

Launching into both Asda and Morrisons, Gressingham’s new dish will be the only branded product in the ‘ready to cook’ aisle, offering customers a delicious restaurant-quality meal for two that can be cooked in just 28 minutes.

“We are excited to be launching our first product into the ‘Easy to Cook’ range, which will offer consumers an easy meal solution for midweek dinners, date nights and special occasions. Our mission at Gressingham is to raise awareness of how easy duck is to cook at home and encourage more people to add it to their shopping list,” explains Rebecca Alderton, brand manager at Gressingham Duck®.
Simple to prepare and cook at home, the duck breasts can be cooked in the foil tray provided and the sauce is poured over during cooking for a speedy and delicious dish, authentically seasoned and full of rich flavour.

“Being stocked on the shelves of Asda and Morrisons will widen our customer base, targeting those that may not have considered buying or cooking duck before and inspiring delicious dinners with duck as the key ingredient. Duck in plum & hoisin sauce is such a classic dish that many will have tried before, but to be able to enjoy this in the comfort of your home is something we feel consumers will love,” adds Alderton.
Gressingham produces a range of products including fresh duck and speciality poultry products, Aromatic Crispy Duck Kits and a Bistro range featuring a wide selection of delicious duck classics. All of Gressingham’s ducks are reared free-to-roam in barns on Red Tractor assured farms in Suffolk and Norfolk.
Gressingham’s Duck Breast in Plum & Hoisin Sauce (320g, 2 servings) is available at Morrisons and Asda (priced from £5.00).
