Gü launches Patisserie Sharing Range complete with cake slice

This September, Gü is expanding its chilled desserts portfolio with the launch of its Pâtisserie Sharing Range – a brand-new product concept designed to bring premium pâtisserie-style dessert to the sharing category.

Designed to serve 6-8 people, the range taps into growing demand for premium desserts that can be enjoyed as part of social occasions and at-home entertaining.

Distinct from Gü’s cheesecake range, the new collection combines indulgent layers, an irresistibly oozy centre and a delicate sponge base to deliver a premium sharing experience.

Launching with three flavours available all year round – Zillionaire Pâtisserie, Spanish Lemon Pâtisserie and Salted Caramel Pâtisserie – the range offers an entirely new way to enjoy the signature flavours Gü fans know and love, reimagined in a sophisticated and more elevated sharing dessert.

Zillionaire Pâtisserie layers double chocolate ganache, treacle-infused crème and buttery French salted caramel over soft cocoa sponge, delivering a rich take on Gü’s most iconic flavour combination.

Spanish Lemon Pâtisserie combines lemon curd, lemon crème and lemon confit with delicate sponge for a bright, citrus-led offering to the range.

Salted Caramel Pâtisserie features layers of caramel crème, vanilla crème and buttery French salted caramel over a delicate sponge, transforming a much-loved flavour into a dessert designed for slicing, serving and sharing.

The launch will be supported later in the year by two limited edition festive variants – White Chocolate & Raspberry Pâtisserie, combining white chocolate ganache and crème with raspberry compote and sponge, and Gingerbread Caramel Pâtisserie, which brings together warming gingerbread spice, caramel, sponge and vanilla crème.

Each dessert comes complete with a bespoke Gü Slicer tool, enabling consumers to serve clean, even portions that showcase the product’s layers.

Fred Ponnavoy, head chef at Gü, says, “Creating the Gü Pâtisserie collection was about taking the flavours people already love from Gü and reimagining them in a format designed for sharing. I’m always thinking about how flavours and textures work together, and this range gave us the opportunity to bring those much-loved combinations to life in a new way. From rich chocolate and caramel to bright citrus and festive flavours, every dessert has been carefully crafted to deliver the layers, textures and indulgence people expect from Gü, while bringing people together to enjoy and share something special.”

The all year round formats of the Gü Pâtisserie Sharing Range launch in retailers from 14th September 2026, RRP £9.99 (prices at retailer’s discretion). The limited-edition festive variants will launch exclusively through Sainsbury’s later in the season with an RRP of £12 (prices at retailer’s discretion).
