Hames Chocolates launches new Dark Chocolate Fondant Cremes range for independent retail and gifting

Hames Chocolates Hames Chocolates, the Lincolnshire-based British chocolatier, is set to launch a new range of Dark Chocolate Fondant Cremes this month under the Hames brand, expanding its offer for independent retail and the premium gifting market.

Designed specifically for farm shops, specialist retailers and the wider gifting space, the new range provides a premium yet accessible addition to confectionery fixtures, combining familiar flavour profiles with high-quality ingredients and consistent production.

Crafted using 53% cocoa dark chocolate made with Rainforest Alliance certified cocoa, each fondant creme features a smooth dark chocolate shell with a soft fondant centre, delivering a classic, indulgent eating experience that works both as a self-treat and as part of a gifting offer.

The range includes four fruit variants – Dark Chocolate Raspberry Cremes, Dark Chocolate Lemon Cremes, Dark Chocolate Orange Cremes and Dark Chocolate Mango Cremes – all made using real fruit juice concentrates. Select flavours also incorporate natural oils, such as lemon oil, to enhance flavour authenticity.

The line-up is completed by Dark Chocolate Mint Cremes, made with English peppermint oil distilled from English Black Mitcham, offering a clean, refreshing contrast to the dark chocolate shell.

By focusing on recognisable flavours and proven formats, the Dark Chocolate Fondant Cremes range offers retailers a low-risk, premium chocolate option that sits comfortably alongside existing gifting lines while also supporting everyday sales.

All Dark Chocolate Fondant Cremes are suitable for vegetarians and vegans and are available in 88g packs, supplied in outers of eight.

Carol Oldbury, Director at Hames Chocolates, said: “We developed this range with independent retailers firmly in mind. It’s about offering a well-executed, premium fondant creme in flavours shoppers already know and enjoy – something that works equally well as a small gift or an everyday indulgence, and that retailers can feel confident will sell through.”

Like the wider Hames Chocolates portfolio, the Dark Chocolate Fondant Cremes range is produced at the company’s Lincolnshire manufacturing facility using responsibly sourced ingredients and high-quality chocolate.
