HELIOT EMIL introduces a new partnership with global circularity platform RESPONSIBLE at Men’s Paris Fashion Week. As a first step, customers can now use the Buy Back feature that is live on the HELIOT EMIL online store. It allows them to return items and receive a Buy Back reward to use on their next purchase. RESPONSIBLE will take the product and run it through a premium refurbishment process. Everything will be ozone-cleaned and expertly repaired, so each piece feels brand new when delivered in minimal, plastic-free packaging to the next customer. Throughout the refurbishment process, RESPONSIBLE collects a wealth of data to feed into the HELIOT EMIL design process to ensure products are made to be repaired, resold, and recycled again and again.
“We are excited to launch our circularity partnership with RESPONSIBLE,” says Julius Juul, co-founder of HELIOT EMIL. “Via our new Buy Back program, customers can now trade back their used items to give them a new life. It is an important first step out of many initiatives we are taking toward lowering our environmental impact.”
“We are happy to join forces with HELIOT EMIL in helping customers to keep their pieces in rotation, buy with circularity in mind, and cultivate an ever-evolving wardrobe,” says Ciarán Jordan, Chief Marketing Officer at RESPONSIBLE. “HELIOT EMIL customers have high expectations, a strong community ethic, and a desire to impact the planet positively. We provide them with the same premium experience for a product’s second life.”
To celebrate the launch of the partnership, HELIOT EMIL and RESPONSIBLE hosted a private dinner, using seasonal vegetarian ingredients curated by Michelin chef Alberto Suardi at Men’s Paris Fashion Week. Fifty specially selected guests were dressed in HELIOT EMIL men’s and women’s collection pieces that were once damaged residual stock but have been refurbished and given a new life by RESPONSIBLE. For both partners, this is just the beginning of a series of events and programs extending the life of HELIOT EMIL products.
