Homepride brings Marry Me Chicken to the pasta bake aisle

Homepride is bringing one of the internet’s most viral dishes* into the pasta bake fixture with the launch of Marry Me Chicken Pasta Bake Sauce, joined by a second new variant, Fajita Pasta Bake Sauce.
Leading the two trend-led sauces, the creamy, sun-dried tomato-style Marry Me Chicken recipe has become one of Google’s most-searched recipes*, after going viral on TikTok. It is now available in an indulgent, comforting pasta bake sauce that makes recreating the trend at home quick and convenient. The Fajita pasta bake recipe is also expected to be a popular choice, with a mass appeal flavour that performs well with family shoppers.
Aimed to get younger shoppers excited about cooking with trend-led flavours, the new launches will land in stores from week commencing 6th July, starting with Tesco, before rolling out across B&M (week commencing 13th July, alongside Fajita), Morrisons (week commencing 10th August, both SKUs), Asda (week commencing 9th September) and Iceland (September, both SKUs). Each 485g jar serves four, with an RSP of £2.65.
With shoppers increasingly discovering meal inspiration through social platforms, the two new launches are designed to drive incremental excitement in the pasta bake category, where flavour innovation has historically lagged behind consumer behaviour.
Rob Watson, Brand Director of Global Cuisines at Premier Foods, said: “Marry Me Chicken is one of the biggest recipe phenomena we’ve seen, but recreating it from scratch is beyond most busy weeknights.
“We’ve turned it into a pasta bake sauce the whole family can enjoy with one jar and minimal effort – and Fajita brings a second flavour we know shoppers already love into the fixture. Together they give shoppers a reason to visit the pasta bake aisle.”
Homepride Marry Me Chicken Pasta Bake Sauce and Homepride Fajita Pasta Bake Sauce are on shelf from July 2026. Both new sauces will be available nationwide by autumn.
