HorlicksHorlicks has launched its new promotional packs to support Alder Hey Children’s Charity, raising funds to create vital ‘Happy Spaces’ to enhance patient care and wellbeing at the hospital.

The best-selling malted beverage brand has launched a significant charity promotion across 1 million product packs which will see a donation of £75,000 going directly to the charity. The donation will provide comforting spaces for patients being treated at Alder Hey, their families and the staff delivering care.

Consumers can pick up any of Horlicks’ 400g jars from all major retailers – spanning Original, Instant and Chocolate flavours – which all now feature the heartwarming on-pack charity promotion.

Horlicks’ ambition is to fund the creation of more all-important ‘Happy Spaces’ at the world-class hospital, which includes family rooms and parent sleeping spaces that provide respite and sensory rooms with specialist toys and equipment to aid post-surgery care.

Elinor Freestone, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Liverpool-based Alder Hey Children’s Charity said: “At Alder Hey, care goes beyond treatment – it’s a warm embrace that brings comfort, hope, and a touch of magic to every child and family. Our incredible NHS staff provide world-class care, while the charity enhances hospital experiences, creating unforgettable moments for young patients.

“Supporting parents and staff during the most challenging times is just as vital, and we remain committed to improving and enriching these spaces to make a real difference.”

Rebekha White, Brand Manager of Horlicks, added: “We’re honoured to be continuing our partnership with the brilliant Alder Hey Children’s Charity & to help raise funds to provide vital care for families in need via the ‘Happy Spaces’ initiative.

“Our drinks provide a comforting feeling that we hope to mirror via this project and the spaces it creates – providing a comfort blanket to Alder Hey patients, families and staff in times of need.”

Look out for the Horlicks and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital promotional packs in all major retailers.
