The countdown just got bigger for the UK’s hottest restaurant opening.
Following the announcement that Stevenage would be home to Houston Hot Chicken’s (HHC) first-ever UK restaurant this autumn, the cult US chicken brand has confirmed that its second UK location will open at the Brunswick Centre in Bloomsbury near Russell Square in London this winter – just weeks later.
The opening marks another milestone in Houston Hot Chicken’s ambitious UK expansion, with plans to roll out 50 restaurants nationwide over the next three years.
If Stevenage is where Britain gets its first taste of Houston Hot Chicken, Brunswick is where the heat gets turned up another notch – and the countdown is officially on.
Known for its crave-worthy hot chicken sandwiches, tenders, loaded fries, and house-made lemonades, Houston Hot Chicken has built a cult following across the US thanks to its fearless personality, unapologetic flavour and a heat scale that climbs all the way to the infamous Houston, We Have A Problem sandwich.
Founded in 2020, Houston Hot Chicken has become one of America’s fastest-growing restaurant brands, recognised by the Inc. 5000 and FastCasual Top 100 Movers & Shakers. With bold food, fearless branding and launch events that blur the line between restaurant opening and entertainment, HHC has built one of the most talked-about followings in US fast casual dining.
