Jisp celebrates Scan & Win success with Bioderma in Australia

Jisp, the retail technology company, has seen its Scan & Win solution enjoy success in Australia during a four weeklong campaign with Bioderma.

Through Scan & Win, Jisp and Bioderma were able to deliver a multi-regional, simultaneous campaign activation in-store utilising smart digital, to connect auditable social actions with in-store execution.

The experiential campaign experience was well received by shoppers and was celebrated by Bioderma for achieving its objective of launching its new range of Serums in Priceline stores across Australia, while also raising brand awareness and advocacy in a market in which it has only operated since 2019.

“This was Bioderma’s first ever time taking part in a campaign of this kind and the JISP team made this first-time experience for us incredibly smooth sailing and easy!” said Isabella Sinclair, trade marketing coordinator at Bioderma Australia.

“The correspondence from the team was fantastic and questions & queries were always answered so promptly and efficiently. The teamwork and ongoing support that the team showed was also stand out and our feedback was always taken on board and actioned straight away, for example, making last minute changes to the creative assets. All in all, I had a super positive experience collaborating with Jisp, and look forward to working together in the future.”

Scan & Win gamifies products digitally using their barcode, removing the need to reprint packaging with QR codes to create gamified experiences for consumers, delivering a simple, guaranteed journey from a social campaign right to a brand’s product.

“The Scan & Win competition by Bioderma was so fun! I went to my local Priceline to check out the serum range and thought that I should test my luck. It was easy to sign up for an account then scan the barcode off one of the Bioderma serum products. Team Jisp has also been so great organising prizes to be shipped out,” said Bioderma customer Michelle Cheung.

Rolled out entirely online it can be deployed across all digital platforms, achieving real time activation, with clear and actionable insights to aid future product marketing strategies.

Scan & Win allows brands to connect with and activate shoppers in their chosen market instantly, all while building a database of shopper data which would allow future remarketing to a clearly defined and engaged audience. Due to the method of engagement and execution, Scan & Win can be employed in collaboration with any product that carries a barcode.

“Gone are the days of costly campaigns and packaging waste. With Scan & Win, it’s all digital, gamifying the scanning experience and leveraging a brand’s online channels to engage and activate audiences instantly in the physical world with your brand’s existing packaging,” said Alex Rimmer, head of marketing & communications at Jisp.

“We believe there is so much more opportunity for Bioderma and Scan & Win, with feedback from participants expressing their enjoyment. This has clearly had a positive impact on the participants experience of Bioderma as a brand and has converted followers to customers quickly and efficiently.”
