K-Beauty’s biggest makeup names hit the Superdrug high street

Today, Superdrug is expanding its K-Beauty offering into cosmetics, bringing the biggest names in K-beauty makeup to the high street.

K-beauty cosmetics are having a major moment, and Superdrug’s expanded edit delivers glass-skin bases, blurring pigment and juicy tints, all wrapped in the playful, pastel packaging fans already love. The range is available in over 60 Superdrug stores and online.

The launch introduces newness from Etude, Banila, Missha and Rom&nd, with further additions from Fwee built for lip-and-cheek obsessives. The refreshed PURESEOUL Edit is no longer skincare-only, bringing together K-beauty’s best base, blush and lip formulas in one place, alongside a cushion and base refresh and new tint and balm launches.

Superdrug research suggests K-beauty cosmetics still has significant room to grow on the UK high street. While 68% of customers associate South Korea with facial skincare, 43% currently make the same connection with cosmetics, rising to 56% among 18 to 24-year-olds.

The move forms part of Superdrug’s wider Beauty Playground approach, a more hands-on, energetic and shopper-led way for customers to discover beauty trends. With skinimalism driving demand for lightweight, skin-first formulas, K-beauty cosmetics offer customers the perfect bridge between skincare and makeup.

Cosmetics can be one of the hardest categories to shop socially, with customers wanting to swatch, test and compare shades before they commit. Superdrug’s expanded offer is designed to make that discovery simpler and more enjoyable, combining trusted category expertise with the chance to test, learn and shop the products customers are actively searching for.

Megan Potter, trading director at Superdrug, comments: “K-beauty make-up has exploded across social feeds, but a viral tint or cushion foundation only tells you so much – shoppers want to swatch, blend and see a shade against their own skin before they commit. We’re bringing those buzzed-about formats and formulas off the screen and onto the high street, where customers can actually get hands-on and have fun experimenting.”

The K-beauty cosmetics edit is available in selected Superdrug stores from including Westfield White City, Trafford and Bristol Cribbs Causeway, with plans to roll out to further stores later this year. The full range is shoppable from today on Superdrug.com.
