This National BBQ Week, Klarna’s latest shopping data reveals Brits are firing up the grill earlier than ever – purchases of BBQs are up 46% YoY and BBQ accessories are up 24% YoY.

According to Klarna’s purchase data, between April 15 and May 15, these are the most popular BBQs:

  • Ninja Woodfire Electric BBQ Grill & Smoker OG701UK
  • Ninja Woodfire Pro Connect XL Electric BBQ Grill & Smoker with Stand & Cover
  • Ninja Woodfire Electric Outdoor Oven, Artisan Pizza Maker and BBQ Smoker
  • BBQ Chef Ultimate Smoker Pro
  • Houston Smoker BBQ with Grill Gold Handles
  • Outback Meteor 6-Burner Hybrid Gas & Charcoal BBQ with Multi-Cook Plate System
  • Outback Omega 250 2-Burner Gas BBQ

And the good news for those who are still in the market for a new BBQ – the average price of BBQs has actually dropped by 26% year-on-year (Apr 2025 vs Apr 2024), according to Klarna’s price tracking data. This makes it easier for shoppers to upgrade their garden setup without burning through their budget.

Now could be a good time to buy before prices increase in peak summer, with many popular BBQ and pizza oven models available for cheaper* now than they were this time last year:

  • Ninja Woodfire OO101UK -17%
  • Ninja OG701UK – 25%
  • Ooni Koda 12 – 21%
  • Charles Bentley 5 Burner Premium -37%
  • Ooni Karu 12 – 62%
  • Weber Master-Touch E-5750 GBS -22%
  • Outback Jupiter 4 Burner Hybrid – 17%

*Price reductions accurate at time of publishing.

With Klarna’s price comparison tool available in the app, it makes it easy to find great prices across BBQs and BBQ accessories – helping shoppers compare models, prices, and reviews in seconds.

“With many BBQ prices down and summer gatherings on the rise, now’s a smart time to shop around. Klarna’s price comparison tool makes it easy to find great deals across popular models, so Brits can upgrade their garden setup without overspending,” said Karin Haglund, head of consumer insights at Klarna.
