Livingston Designer Outlet, Scotland’s largest outlet destination, is proud to announce the relaunch of Lacoste’s only store in Scotland following a full refit. The newly transformed unit, opening Thursday 17 April, underscores the brand’s long-term commitment to the Scottish market and forms a part of the continued investment and growth strategy for the centre.
The upgraded Lacoste unit now spans a larger shoppable footprint, allowing for a broadened product offering, enhanced layout, and an elevated customer experience. As the brand’s exclusive store location in Scotland, this reinvestment highlights both confidence in local consumer demand and the importance of Livingston Designer Outlet as a destination in the brand’s UK portfolio.
The refitted store blends Lacoste’s French heritage with a bold new visual direction. A custom-built catwalk-style installation forms a focal point in the space, celebrating Lacoste’s distinctive aesthetic while creating an immersive, lifestyle-led experience for visitors. The space also introduces an expanded Polo Wall, a tribute to the brand’s most iconic garment, which now features a wider selection of colourways, styles and seasonal collections.
In line with Lacoste’s renewed retail direction, the Livingston Designer Outlet store now includes enhanced childrenswear, womenswear, accessory and footwear ranges. The store will also offer a curated selection of trend-led pieces and seasonal exclusives.
Nicky Lovell, head of outlets and retail development at Global Mutual, commented: “This significant investment from Lacoste reflects a growing trend among premium retailers to expand their physical presence with stores that deliver more products and better experiences. Lacoste’s new store is an exciting addition to Livingston Designer Outlet and aligns with our wider vision to elevate the retail offering and better serve our customers across multiple audiences.”
The investment marks the latest in a series of strategic brand enhancements at Livingston Designer Outlet, as the centre continues to attract leading lifestyle, fashion, and sportswear names to West Lothian.
