Livingston Design Outlet, one of Scotland’s most sought-after retail destinations, has announced the upsize of its Le Creuset unit to 1,714sq ft, making it the brand’s biggest store in the UK.

The upsize reflects the success of Le Creuset’s previous 1,029sq ft store at the outlet centre and features a new concept fit-out that is the first-of-its-kind for the brand in the UK.

Le Creuset has been open at Livingston Designer Outlet since 2006.  The new store, located in the Cathedral Mall and fitted out to reflect the brand’s European boutique stores, opened on 1st November. Guest to the new store will enjoy access to a broader selection of Le Creuset kitchen essentials and iconic cookware.

The renowned French cookware and homeware store puts Livingston Designer Outlet in a unique position as it aims to attract guests from across Scotland who are looking to elevate their homeware with premium, lifelong kitchen essentials.

The new store comes at the perfect trading time as Livingston Designer Outlet prepares for a busy Christmas period.

Karen Stewart, centre manager at Livingston Design Outlet, said: “We are thrilled to unveil this significant upsize in Le Creuset at Livingston Designer Outlet, proving just how successful business has been for the brand. We’re committed to offering our guests an exciting and diverse retail mix, from fashion to homewares and everything in between, and this investment certainly adds to this, just in time for Christmas trading.”

Nicky Lovell, head of outlets and retail business development at Global Mutual, commented: “Our leasing strategy continues to centre around providing the best customer experience and, as a first-of-its-kind store concept for the UK, this new Le Creuset store at Livingston Designer Outlet certainly demonstrates this. We’ve seen Le Creuset grow from strength to strength since 2006 and we are delighted that they have chosen to invest further in their presence here.”

Hellen Maple, area manager at Le Creuset, added: “We’ve had a presence at Livingston Designer Outlet for over 13 years, we’re delighted with our new location within the outlet, and we look forward to welcoming returning and new guests over the coming weeks.”
