Lick launches its first-ever clothing range, Apparel

LickApparelHome décor brand Lick introduces LickApparel, its first-ever clothing collection designed with colour psychology at its core. Colour psychology is the study of how colour can influence our mood and our behaviour; how we feel about ourselves and how we interact with each other. Colour psychology is a guiding compass for discovering the colours that help you show up as your signature self.

Lick designed the Apparel collection with a curated selection of colours that will help you feel connected to yourself and the world around you. Just as walking into an artfully curated Pink 04 bedroom can make you feel soothed, pulling on a Pink 04 Jumpsuit will leave you floating through the day, serene and ready to share your quirks with the world. The collection includes two jumpsuits, a cap, a sweatshirt and a t-shirt.

Tash Bradley, colour psychologist and director of interior design at Lick, explains: “The relationship between an ability to express oneself and mental health cannot be understated. When we feel a sense of conviction about who we are, and feel confident showing up in society as our truest self, we find peace, joy and fulfilment. When we feel unable to openly express ourselves in a way that chimes with our identity, self-doubt and anxiety can take hold.”

“Lick Apparel is about celebrating the power colour gives people to express themselves the way they choose to show up that day. Expression of self is fluid, and colour is your canvas.”

The colours were selected for the collection from Lick’s curated colour library for their unique and distinctive transformative power:

PINK 04 Soothes. Channel your inner serenity.

TEAL 03 Emboldens. Tap into your inner risk-taker and trend-setter.

BLUE 19 Energises. Unleash your zealous, bold self.

RED 03 Grounding. Embrace your passionate side and ease back down to earth.

BLUE 07 Reassures. Invite your deliberate, thoughtful side to stay a while.

To launch the Apparel collection, Lick has worked with four London-based artists, Georgia Beaumont, Bernice Mulenga, Sonny Flynn, and Shenyue Ding to explore the intersecting worlds of colour and expression of self through art.

A brand proud to be B Corp™ certified, sustainability has consistently been at the heart of Lick’s mission and this doesn’t stop with Apparel. Always conscious of being eco-friendly, while creating durable and high-quality products, the collection has been made from organic materials with the T-Shirt, Sweatshirt and Jumpsuit all made from 100% GOTS Certified Organic cotton.

Crafted to last a lifetime, each Jumpsuit comes with a hand stitched name tag for 3 generations to sign their name before handing the garment down to be loved and lived in for years to come.

The Apparel collection is available online now at Lick.com. The collection is limited edition.
