Lobyco has entered a new multi-year partnership with the Channel Islands Co-operative Society (CI Coop) to transform the way its members engage with them through a modern digital experience. The collaboration will see the introduction of a new membership app that combines rewards, tailored offers, and interactive features such as games, designed to strengthen loyalty and create added value for customers.

CI Coop is a member-owned business, owned by over 120,000 members. With a long-standing presence across the islands dating back to 1919, CI Coop operates an extensive network of food, pharmacy, and fuel services across the islands, which makes them the largest private employer. By joining forces with Lobyco, the Coop is investing in a digital-first approach to deepen customer relationships and enhance its community-focused mission.

The new app will provide a seamless platform where members can:

  • Access exclusive promotions and tailored offers.
  • Earn and redeem rewards effortlessly.
  • Enjoy interactive experiences like gamified features.

This initiative will allow CI Coop to deliver greater value to its members while modernizing its digital presence. At the same time, it enables the Coop to gain new insights into customer preferences and engagement, supporting its ongoing commitment to innovation and community impact.

With the launch of this partnership, CI coop is setting a new standard in digital loyalty, combining tradition with innovation to deliver meaningful value to members across the islands.

Anders Mittag, chief commercial officer, Lobyco: “We’re proud to partner with CI Coop, a retailer with strong roots in its communities and a clear focus on delivering value to its members. Together, we’re introducing a new loyalty app that goes well beyond traditional points and discounts. With engaging features, we’re creating a more interactive and rewarding experience that strengthens the connection between the Coop and its members. This partnership is a great example of how we can combine local values with Lobyco’s expertise in digital engagement to make loyalty simple, fun, and impactful.”

David McGrath, chief marketing & membership officer, CI Coop: “We’re thrilled to be partnering on this exciting new loyalty experience. At the Coop, our members are at the heart of everything we do, and this collaboration allows us to deliver even more value, convenience, and personalization. Together, we’re creating a smarter, more rewarding way to shop, one that reflects the needs of our community and makes every visit even more engaging.”
