From the early 20th-century elegance of Michelin House – now home to the Michelin-starred Claude Bosi at Bibendum – to the minimalist boutiques of brands like Chanel, Joseph, Isabel Marant and FRAME, it’s a place where architecture, fashion and food intertwine with a distinct West London ease.
Now, Brompton Cross is officially having its moment thanks to a fresh new look and week-long celebration to match.
Introducing Brompton in Bloom (19-25 May), a floral takeover that marks the next chapter for one of London’s chicest neighbourhoods. Think fashion, flowers, alfresco vibes, and hidden gems at every turn. All set against the backdrop of the newly pedestrianised Draycott Avenue, now reimagined with elegant planters, ambient lighting and plenty of space to stroll and soak up the scene.
Here’s what to expect:
- Daphne’s iconic terrace is back – now with a pedestrianised Draycott Avenue, setting the scene for long lunches and relaxed evenings in the sun
- Brompton Bird Trail – a charming hunt for families, complete with a hidden message and a limited-edition prize from Soroka
- Petals at Bibendum launches the Petals Club – a dreamy new members’ community for flower lovers, complete with exclusive tutorials and tips
- Katharine Pooley goes floral – with a gorgeous installation taking over her Walton Street boutique window
- Loop Generation presents ‘In Still Bloom’ – a new exhibition by photographer Filip Gielda, celebrating nature, craftsmanship and the art of seeing
- Volta do Mar opens a Brazilian juice bar – serving up colourful, refreshing fruit blends inspired by the streets of Rio and Bahia
