Independent retailer Harsh AmiparaIndependent retailer Harsh Amipara has signed a new five‑year deal with Co‑op Wholesale and plans to grow from 5 to 20 stores within five years, across East London and Essex.

Harsh has built a reputation for turning underperforming sites into thriving Nisa stores, driving growth and community impact. This partnership combines entrepreneurial drive with Co‑op Wholesale’s market‑leading offer, delivering quality, convenience, and choice for local shoppers.

“Co‑op Wholesale is absolutely the right partner for the future,” said Harsh. “The support is always there when we need it. The strength of the chilled and frozen range, and the trust customers have in Co‑op own‑brand, make a huge difference to our performance. With this partnership in place, we can take on bigger opportunities and deliver successful stores again and again.”
