Passengers travelling through Heathrow’s Terminal 5 can now enjoy a renewed range of luxury stores following a suite of new openings over the summer. The new openings offer passengers access to fashion exclusives, personalised services and a greater choice of premium shopping options before they fly, as part of Heathrow’s broader, ongoing investment to provide a world-class airport experience.
Bottega Veneta
The first store to reopen as part of Terminal 5’s luxury overhaul, Bottega Veneta’s new boutique combines bespoke features, including terrazzo flooring, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Visitors can discover the house’s latest collections under the creative direction of Louise Trotter, spanning leather bags, shoes, fragrances, jewellery and travel accessories.
The boutique also introduces, for the first time, several new furniture pieces, including a glass-and-vitrine table and softly rounded wooden shelving. Together, these elements complement the store’s displays while creating a more intimate shopping experience.
ZEGNA
A new arrival to Heathrow’s luxury portfolio, historic Italian menswear house ZEGNA’s new boutique offers customers an immersive store experience, complete with comfortable, contemporary furnishings, and the brand’s signature foliage-inspired colour palette.
ZEGNA’s most recognisable collections will be available to Heathrow passengers, including its renowned Triple Stitch sneakers along with staples in its menswear category including overshirts, knitwear and accessories.
Prada
Iconic, speciality handbags will be exclusively available at the new Prada store at Heathrow. The Terminal 5 opening coincides with the announcement of Prada’s Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, which draws inspiration from the womenswear and menswear collections of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons.
Dior
Dior’s upgraded Terminal 5 store broadens the brand’s offering to Heathrow passengers, who can now browse a selection of leather goods, accessories and seasonal pieces alongside men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections. Dior’s new boutique features a striking interior, with mirrored ceilings to create a bright, spacious feel throughout. To mark launch day, a calligrapher welcomed clients with a complimentary, personalised Dior bookmark.
Smythson
This summer marked a homecoming for the iconic British brand, Smythson, which also celebrated 30 years since first arriving in Heathrow.
Smythson’s new store in Terminal 5 will offer high-end stationery, diaries and leather goods, as well as bespoke gold-stamping services exclusive to Heathrow, which celebrate destinations across the globe, giving passengers a unique travel keepsake.
The store will also feature a dedicated gold-stamping station, providing an immersive brand experience. Passengers will be able to personalise their purchases with their initials, a playful motif, or with the newly introduced, exclusive collection of designs inspired by vintage passport stamps.
Smythson’s travel collection also features its signature products in Heathrow-exclusive colourways, which include Turmeric, Nutmeg, Silver, and Eau de Nil.
Nancy Stewart, Head of Category for Luxury, Fashion and Duty Free at Heathrow said: “Luxury shopping is about choice as much as it’s about exclusivity. From iconic international fashion houses to beloved British brands, travellers now have an even greater range of options and access to items that are unique to Heathrow.
“It’s been a pleasure working with our trusted brand partners to bring these new stores to Terminal 5. Our shared focus on delivering an exceptional passenger experience is especially important in a commercially challenging post-Brexit environment, where the UK remains an international outlier without tax-free shopping.
“With Hermès also opening its new boutique this month, we’re continuing to invest in a premium retail experience that reflects the expectations of today’s passengers and supports our ambition to make Heathrow a world leader in passenger experience.”
