Mango strengthens its presence in Ireland with new Limerick store

MangoMango, one of the world’s leading fashion groups, today opens its newest store in Limerick, creating 15 new jobs.

Situated on O’Connell Street, the new store offers Mango’s latest womenswear and menswear collections, including clothing, footwear and accessories, all designed at Mango’s Barcelona atelier by a team of 500 experts. Combining timeless and versatile staples with more stylish contemporary pieces influenced by the brand’s Mediterranean heritage, Mango’s clothing collection offers quality fashion at reasonable prices.

The new 7535 sq ft store also reflects Mango’s New Med concept – an interior design inspired by the brand’s Mediterranean heritage and culture, with natural textures, warm tones and sustainable materials that create a bright and welcoming shopping space.

The new location on Limerick’s main street is Mango’s first standalone store in the city, adding to existing stores in Cork, Swords and Newbridge. The brand also has a presence in Dundrum and Blanchardstown, as well as two flagship stores in Dublin city centre, located on Grafton Street and Henry Street.

This latest opening forms part of Mango’s 2024–2026 4Es Strategic Plan, which aims to drive sales and store expansion, including an ambitious roadmap to expand Mango’s store presence across Ireland.  Since the creation of this expansion plan, Mango is on track to open 500 new stores globally by the end of 2026.

The expansion plan builds on Mango’s strong performance. In July Mango reported global turnover of €1.73 billion in the first half of 2025, up 12% year on year (14% at constant exchange rates). This growth was driven by the popularity of its collections, including the recent collaboration with up-and-coming London designer Supriya Lele, alongside continued new store openings.

Fiona Cullen, international regional director for the UK & Ireland, commented: “Our new store in Limerick is a confident step forward for Mango, building on the strong progress we have made over the last year to broaden the appeal of Mango to even more customers across Ireland. Limerick is the perfect new home to introduce our womenswear and menswear collections to Irish customers, in a store format that truly represents the Mediterranean soul of our brand.”

At the end of 2025, Mango had around 20 points of sale across  Ireland, including standalone stores and concessions,  as well as Mango.com and online presence in other marketplaces.
