Moss, the established menswear retailer unveils a newly refurbished Oxford Street West flagship this Tuesday 27th May 2025. Located in the heart of one of the world’s busiest shopping destinations, the store promises a fresh, contemporary take on the brand’s tailoring heritage.
“Men today don’t just want to look good – they want to feel confident in what they wear,” says Brian Brick, CEO of Moss. “That means clothes that fit well, feel great, and suit their day, wherever that takes them. Our role is to take the stress out of getting dressed – combining style with service that makes the whole experience effortless.”
The Moss flagship store is 5,038 square feet, spanning over 3 floors, showcasing an innovative retail concept that combines modern design with timeless elegance. Already one of the top-performing stores in Moss’s 114-store portfolio, the Oxford Street West location was thriving before the refurbishment. This latest investment is about making a great store even better. A confident step forward that reflects the brand’s commitment to elevated, experience-led retail. It also sets the tone for what’s to come, with new destination stores opening in Birmingham’s Bullring on 31st May 2025 and Manchester’s Trafford Centre this summer. For Moss, it’s not just about expanding – it’s about raising the bar.
Investing in the future: heritage meets modern style
The new flagship showcases the brand’s latest collection, combining timeless tailoring with modern twists. The sleek design and carefully curated product are a testament to the brand’s ongoing commitment to innovation and quality, ensuring Moss stays at the forefront of menswear while remaining true to its heritage. In line with its new direction, everything is stripped back to show off the product in a simplified way. The brand recently had a name change – dropping ‘Bros’ from its moniker of old to just Moss. The move reflects the modern, more diverse, digital, omni-channel retailer, Moss is today.
“Our product has moved on”
With a sharp eye on today’s trends and a deep respect for timeless tailoring, Moss’ revitalised collection empowers men to show up, whether it’s for the office, a wedding, or a weekend off-duty.
Leading this next-gen experience is Peter Akinnola, a long-standing retail expert and the store’s manager. “Our customers want to look good without having to overthink it,” Peter explains. “They’re looking for pieces that offer confidence and versatility – and advice they can trust. That’s what we deliver at Moss.”
“We don’t just follow fashion – we listen to the customer,” adds Brian Brick, CEO . “That’s what drives our evolution: the understanding that menswear isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s personal, and we’re uniquely positioned to deliver on that.”
Today, the brand blends premium Italian-made tailoring, relaxed suiting, and elevated casualwear to create a modern, functional wardrobe. Partnering with world-class Italian mills like Ferla, Barberis, and E. Thomas, Moss combines their heritage with cutting-edge fabrics and design. Moss also offers a range of in-store services, from ready-to-wear, to hire and custom-made, all of which offer an appointment with their style experts.
