NapolinaNapolina, the UK’s favourite Italian food brand, has announced the launch of two new flavoured olive oils, Napolina Roasted Garlic & Herbs and Napolina Chilli & Sundried Tomato, which will be available from November.

The launch comes just in time for hosting season and follows significant value growth of +45%[2] in the flavoured oils category. In the category, garlic and chilli are by far the two best-selling flavours in the market[3], which Napolina has now elevated using roasted garlic and whole chilli flakes with sundried tomatoes for deeper balanced flavours.

With an explosion of artisanal flavoured oils in the marketplace, Napolina is offering interesting flavour combinations to elevate Italian cuisine for customers. These new flavoured olive oils have been developed for drizzling on pasta, pizza, salads or other finished dishes.

The oils are 100% olive oil, using Napolina Light In Colour as the base to best carry the infused flavours for drizzling over dishes.

Jeremy Gibson, marketing director at Napolina, said: “At Napolina, we’ve noticed a growth in consumer desire around Italian cuisine, especially on weekends and special occasions as 15.1% of weekend occasions are either pasta or pizza dishes[4]. We wanted to create a product that elevated home cooking, helping to create restaurant quality experiences at home.

Both products have authentic Italian flavours at the core, having been made using natural flavouring and infused with whole ingredients.”

Napolina Roasted Garlic & Herbs and Napolina Chilli & Sundried Tomato are available in selected Morrisons stores now and will be widely available at Tesco from 19th November with an RRP of £4.50 and a promotional price of £3.75.
