New price-marked packs from Radnor Hills offers retailers great profit margins

Radnor HillsRadnor Hills is bucking the trend and launching another of its brands as a price-marked pack (PMP) and offering retailers great profit margins.

The independently owned and run soft drinks company is offering high Profit on Return (POR) on the PMP’s of its new juicy carbonated soft drink Radnor Spring.

An exciting new carbonated drink, Radnor Spring offers four refreshing and fruity flavours of sparkling spring water with added B vitamins – and all low calorie.

All are made using the exceptionally pure, well-balanced Welsh spring water that Radnor Hills is known for. Naturally rock-filtered, it tastes delicious and is rich in trace minerals.

Radnor Spring is now available in 12x500ml formats for wholesalers and independent convenience and retailers in a new £1 PMP bottle with exciting POR.

Flavours include: Black Cherry & Blackcurrant, Mango & Passion Fruit, Pineapple & Grapefruit and Strawberry & Raspberry. All of its bottles are 100% recyclable.

Last year Radnor Hills launched its first ever price-marked packs with its flagship brand Radnor Splash – a market leader and one of the best-selling flavoured water brands in the UK.

Chris Sanders, sales & marketing director of Radnor Hills, said: “We know that retailers are facing big challenges with the margin available on PMPs due to inflation.

“We are passionate about giving our retailer partners products which offer them a great profit margin and that also drive consumer trust and give added value which is why we’re also launching Radnor Spring in PMPs.

“With great Profit on Return (POR) on £1 bottles of Radnor Spring, we believe our PMPs are really breaking the mould. The response from Cash and Carry is very exciting and we’ve had a 100% listing update in the first month.

“Healthy, functional and exactly what the market is looking for, we believe Radnor Spring is a must stock drink for any retailer in the UK.

“We think it’s the perfect time to create our own juicy carbonated soft drink, where the hero is our incredible Welsh spring water, bottled by us in our zero-to-landfill site in Wales and available as a PMP. Radnor Spring also enhances an already nostalgic Radnor basket of products.

“We’ve also got a full activation team in place and we’re activating sampling, giveaways and engagement days all over the country to support the launch.

“We have carried out extensive consumer research of 3,000, 18-35-year-olds who have loved our brands throughout their education years. We gained strong feedback that they are thirsty for more innovation from us as they make their next steps outside of education into the workforce and in their leisure time.

“Innovation is at the heart of our business and we’re working on even more drink innovation which will extend our portfolio and offer hydration for every generation.”

The Radnor Hills team will be showcasing the new price-marked packs of Radnor Spring at The Unitas Trade Show at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool between March 11-12.

The company has a wide network of distributors and wholesalers through the UK & Ireland. For more information or free trade samples please email sales@radnorhills.co.uk
