Søstrene GreneAt 9:59am on Friday 17th October, Danish homewares brand Søstrene Grene will open the doors to its newest store. Situated in the city of Cambridge, the launch marks the second store to be opened in Cambridgeshire.

Søstrene Grene is expanding its presence in Cambridgeshire with a new store that showcases the brand’s signature Scandinavian-inspired designs. Set within Cambridge’s Grand Arcade, the store will feature a thoughtfully curated range of affordable homewares, furniture, lifestyle products and craft essentials, right in the heart of the city centre.

To mark the occasion, the first 100 customers through the doors will receive a voucher for a rug, worth over £60. Guests will also receive a canvas tote bag filled with Søstrene Grene goodies before getting the chance to explore the brand’s latest collections whilst enjoying refreshments and live performances by a classical string duo and ballerinas.

Originating in Denmark, Søstrene Grene now has over 360 stores globally, and more than 50 locations across the UK. The new Cambridge store adds to Søstrene Grene’s growing presence in the UK and Cambridgeshire, joining the established Peterborough site.

Mikkel Grene, group CEO and co-owner of Søstrene Grene, comments: “We are delighted to continue our UK and Cambridgeshire expansion with our new Cambridge store. The store will bring Søstrene Grene’s unmistakable Scandinavian charm to the heart of this historic city, becoming a welcoming space where people can embrace creativity, find inspiration and enjoy a little everyday hygge.”

UK partners, Norma Jacob and Richard Power, who operate Søstrene Grene stores across Northern Ireland, Southern England, Scotland and Wales, are excited to bring shoppers to the new Cambridge store.

Norma Jacob, comments: “We’re delighted to be opening our new Søstrene Grene store in Cambridge’s Grand Arcade. This exciting location allows us to bring our distinctive blend of Scandinavian charm and creativity to the heart of the city. We look forward to welcoming customers into a calm, inspiring space where they can discover a moment of serenity amid the everyday.”

Richard Power adds: “We have already seen such a positive response surrounding our latest store opening, similar to the warmth and enthusiasm we received from our Peterborough opening last year. We’re excited to introduce this new destination to the world of Søstrene Grene and share the brand’s charming design with Cambridge.”

Søstrene Grene’s new store at Grand Arcade, Cambridge, will officially open on Friday 17th October at 9:59am.
