Following the successful launch of its first-ever frozen omelettes earlier this year, the happy egg co. – the UK’s No.1 free-range egg brand – is expanding the range with two new and deliciously moreish flavours: Ham & Cheese and Cheese & Tomato.
The new omelettes are made with the happy egg co.’s famously tasty 100% British free-range eggs, produced by happy hens raised to high welfare standards. The result is a feel-good, wholesome meal that brings the taste of a homemade omelette to the freezer aisle.
Both new flavours are crafted with British milk and mature cheddar and are ready in minutes straight from frozen. Whether microwaved, oven-baked or air-fried, each omelette stays light and fluffy.
“The early success of our frozen omelettes showed us that shoppers want quick, feel-good meals made with high-quality ingredients they can trust,” said Anita Nutchey, head of marketing & innovation at Noble Foods.
“These new flavours stay true to our brand. Great-tasting eggs from happy hens, now in even more convenient formats. From Ham & Cheese to a classic Cheese & Tomato, we’re bringing more choice to those who love eggs but don’t always have the time to cook from scratch.”
Omelettes remain a firm family favourite, with over 200 million eaten annually in the UK. Yet 60% of consumers say they find omelettes inconvenient to make, highlighting a clear role for the happy egg co.’s frozen range. The new flavours offer a simple, protein-packed solution for breakfast, lunch or a quick evening meal – without compromising on the enjoyment of a freshly cooked omelette.
The Ham & Cheese omelette has already launched in 150 Morrisons stores, with Cheese & Tomato to follow through wider retail rollout in the coming weeks.
Noble Foods’ frozen innovation strategy continues to build on its vision to champion the natural goodness of eggs, expanding beyond shell into new formats that make it easier for consumers to enjoy high-welfare British eggs any time of day.
