Following another year of strong network expansion, including 20 new ultra-rapid charging hubs totalling 200 bays,
As a result, the Osprey Charging Network now has more open-access rapid charge points than BP Pulse, making it the second largest network of its kind in the UK.
This milestone reflects the strength of our pipeline and breadth and depth of commercial landlord partners, as well as strategic land development and purchase.
There is no sign of infrastructure delivery slowing down, with another 1,500 charge points funded and scheduled for deployment over the next few years.
Whilst rapidly expanding, the focus remains on quality of infrastructure; a quality that has earned Osprey a Top 3 ranking in the Zapmap Driver Survey for a second year running, and Charge Point Network of the Year three years in a row at the EVIE Awards.
Osprey’s CEO Ian Johnston explained this focus: “We always prioritise the driver experience, by building the right charging sites in the right locations and making them easy to find and use. Beyond drivers, we think about the experience of vehicle owners too, enabling straightforward payments by fleets of all sizes. Customer excellence comes with many years of investment into technology and data, including our proprietary software platform Osprey Iris that gives us ultimate control of our network.”
In 2025, Osprey Charging Network’s continued growth was backed by a group of financial institutions, together providing £110m in senior debt facilities to accelerate the roll out of Osprey EV charging hubs at prime locations across the UK. The company also retains strong support from its original equity investors.
