PANGAIAThis December, sustainable beauty & wellness boutique big. beauty is bringing its Hackney-based magic to the heart of Carnaby Street for an exclusive Christmas pop-up at the PANGAIA flagship London store. Running for three days only, from December 12th to 14th, the pop-up invites shoppers to explore big.’s carefully curated selection of zero-waste beauty and wellness products—perfect for guilt-free festive gifting.
big. beauty founders Lisa Targett Bolding and Marijke Adderley and their expert team will be in-store throughout the event, offering personalised skin consultations and helping shoppers curate the perfect holiday gifts. Visitors will also discover limited-edition, high-performance products rarely available outside big.’s Hackney boutique, including LESSE’s stripped-down skincare range and Subtle Bodies’ intoxicating incense sticks.

“With 95% of cosmetic packaging getting thrown away, and only 9% being recycled – packaging is one of the biggest sustainability challenges facing the beauty industry. We’re here to change that and provide a platform for the pioneer brands designing waste out of the system.” says Targett Bolding, “Partnering with PANGAIA was a no-brainer, as innovators around materiality and waste they are the perfect space for us to showcase the best of big.’s collection this festive season.”

The pop-up’s limited curation includes:

LESSE: NYC-based natural skincare essentials (exclusive to big.)
ACTIVIST: LA Erewhon’s favourite Manuka honey skincare and supplement range from New Zealand (exclusive to big.)
Subtle Bodies: Australian-crafted incense sticks (exclusive to big.)
Vyrao: East London-based pioneers of mood-enhancing scents
AKT: Award-winning natural deodorant balms from the West End
MIRROR WATER: Community-centred nourishing body care essentials
Tenth Muse: Innovative refillable solid perfume balms from London

PANGAIA is a pioneering materials science company at the intersection of science, purpose, and design. Its mission is to bring problem-solving innovations to the world through premium lifestyle products and experiences. Known for its bio-engineered materials and sustainable practices, the PANGAIA Carnaby Street flagship store offers the perfect setting to showcase big.’s cult-favourite beauty brands.
To kick off the festivities, the event will feature drinks, a live DJ, and a facial massage workshop led by big.’s resident facialist, Rebecca Pearson.Don’t miss this unique opportunity to shop zero-waste beauty and curated PANGAIA gift edits, while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of PANGAIA Carnaby Street—one of London’s most iconic retail destination
