PerfectTed launches instant matcha latte powder in two flavours – original and vanilla

PerfectTedPerfectTed, UK’s no.1 matcha brand and Dragon’s Den’s most successful investment, is making matcha easier than ever with the launch of Instant Matcha Latte Powders, in two flavours, Original and Vanilla, bringing ceremonial grade matcha into a convenient just-add-water format that is ready in just 30 seconds.

PerfectTed are on a mission to make matcha as accessible as possible, and this new format does just that. The new range of Instant Matcha Latte Powder is made with ceremonial grade matcha and oat milk, portioned into six individual sachets per box, making matcha easier to enjoy at home or on the go. Simply add water, stir and enjoy.

However, developing a genuine café-style matcha latte that needs only water was far from simple. As matcha is normally insoluble, PerfectTed’s product-development team had to overcome this, while delivering the colour, flavour, creaminess and smooth mouthfeel consumers expect from a freshly made latte. After extensive testing, the team perfected the formulation, which performs under hot or cold temperatures, so you can make your perfect matcha latte that way you want to.

The two flavours offer something for both new and established matcha drinkers. Original Instant Matcha Latte keeps things classic, allowing the distinctive flavour of matcha to take centre stage, while Vanilla Instant Matcha Latte is a subtly sweet vanilla flavour – vanilla is one of the most popular flavours for new matcha consumers.

PerfectTed’s Original and Vanilla Instant Matcha Lattes has launched in Sainsbury’s costing £3.85 RRP for 6 sachets.

Marisa Poster, co-founder of PerfectTed, says: “Our aim has always been to make matcha as accessible as possible, and our consumers and community have been asking us for even easier ways to enjoy it. These new Instant Matcha Lattes are a direct response to that demand, making it possible to enjoy a delicious matcha latte in 30 seconds, without a whisk or any specialist equipment, while still using ceremonial grade matcha – just add water and stir! We see convenience as an important part of making matcha more accessible and bringing it into more everyday routines, and this launch is another step towards making matcha something people can enjoy wherever and whenever they want.”

Founded by Marisa Poster, Teddie Levenfiche and Levi Levenfiche, PerfectTed began after Marisa, struggling with anxiety and ADHD, discovered matcha. Frustrated by the lack of clean, effective energy options in the UK, both on supermarket shelves and in local cafés, they launched PerfectTed in 2021 to bring matcha to the UK market. PerfectTed sources its matcha worldwide and is spearheading the developments in the globalisation of the matcha supply chain to support the fast growth of the category.

From landing a historic Dragons’ Den deal to securing 35,000+ store listings across 50+ countries, PerfectTed is the number one matcha brand and the fastest growing retail brand in the UK. With a commitment to bold marketing, innovative product development, and quality products, the brand is redefining the way people think about energy.
