Pret A Manger has today announced the appointment of Stefan Porter to the newly created role of Chief Supply Chain Officer, where he will help drive the company’s global growth ambitions.
Stefan joins from Azzurri Group, owner of ASK Italian, Zizzi, Coco di Mama and Dave’s Hot Chicken, where he served as Group Commercial Director. There he led the organisations group-wide commercial strategy across purchasing and supply chain, retail, ESG, energy procurement, quality, safety and technical, playing a central role in supporting the Group’s growth and operational performance.
Before joining Azzurri Group, Stefan spent eight years at Lidl GB, latterly as senior buying director. In this role he led multiple buying divisions, worked closely with the UK and International Boards, and managed strategic supplier relationships within a fast-paced, highly competitive retail environment.
In this new role at Pret, Stefan will have responsibility for supply chain, logistics, buying, technical and sustainability functions, supporting Pret globally.
