The Regatta Group, home to some of Britain’s most recognised outdoor brands, delivered a record-breaking performance in 2024, selling 23 million products across its portfolio, nearly one every second. This family-owned collective of leading brands includes high-street outdoor favourite Regatta Great Outdoors, dynamic mountain and snow brand Dare 2b, sustainable-outdoor adventure brand Craghoppers, and Regatta Professional, renowned for its exceptional workwear, trusted across industries.

Alongside these achievements, the Group made major investments in infrastructure, including the implementation of a new D365 ERP system and additional supporting systems, improving service and positioning the business for future growth.

The Group also made significant sustainability progress in 2024. 60% of polyester fibres used were recycled, aligning with the Textile Exchange PET Challenge with further advancement in the pipeline. Operational emissions reduced by 10%, reflecting the investment in solar panels and electric vehicles. Supplier transparency improved with independent audits of top 10 volume Tier 3 suppliers, while the new Compliance Hub strengthened governance on EPR, textile recycling, and EU regulations. The Group furthered its global impact by funding three European regeneration projects and providing over 47 thousand nutritious meals for children at Savar School in Dhaka, Bangladesh, a school it has supported for over a decade.

CEO and co-owner Keith Black said: “2024 has been a good year for the Regatta Group. As a family-owned business, we are extremely proud to have built a sustainable group of outdoor brands which allows millions of customers globally enjoy their outdoor life experiences. Selling nearly a product per second is an extraordinary statistic and testament to the strength of our brands, which have been trusted by families, adventurers, and professionals for decades.

With a clear growth strategy, the ability to adapt to consumer trends, and significant investment in systems, I’m confident we can build on this success in 2025 and continue delivering for our customers and partners.”

Product focused growth

The Group’s commitment to core product excellence while responding to market trends delivered outstanding results across key categories. Fleece achieved 13% year-on-year growth, highlighting the Group’s ability to meet consumer demands. Regatta Great Outdoors saw double-digit growth in its core ranges, selling 1 million more units YoY, driven by its reputation for great quality and value for money products.

Dare 2b’s Mountain Series achieved a 23% year-to-date uplift, driven by the success of the new Torrek Mountain range, which features industry-leading ARED 30/30 waterproof and breathability technology.

Meanwhile, Regatta Professional saw demand for its core printable softshell range rise by 30%. The brand also launched women’s workwear in September, featuring real tradespeople in the campaign, responding to the growing demand for inclusive and functional workwear tailored to women in the industry.

Craghoppers’ legwear remains an iconic category, with a 6% growth. The relaunch of its insect-repellent NosiLife travel range delivered a 32% sales increase, further cementing its unique appeal in the adventure clothing market.

Collaborations & partners

Strategic partnerships were a key driver of growth for the Regatta Group in 2024. Craghoppers strengthened brand association through its collaboration with the National Trust and renewed its long-standing Duke of Edinburgh’s Award partnership for another three years.

Regatta Great Outdoors celebrated a successful first year with Marks & Spencer, a retail partnership built on shared values of quality and accessibility, with ambitious plans for future growth. ASOS also delivered a strong first full year for both Regatta and Dare2b, while Decathlon achieved significant above-budget growth for the Group.

Craghoppers continued its momentum in Europe, recording 56% YoY growth with Globetrotter and 135% YoY growth with AS Adventures, further reinforcing its position with leading retailers across key markets.
