Metrocentre’s Jobs Fair returns this Friday & Saturday as the centre prepares for its busiest and most wonderful time of the year.
Those looking for a new challenge can meet prospective employers plus have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and attributes face to face, unlike many standard online application processes.
Harrods Beauty, Zara, Odeon, Boux Avenue, Boots, JD, Levi’s, EE, Flannels and Everlast Gym are just a few of the employers who are participating.
Tracy Allison, community hub co-ordinator at Metrocentre said: “We are delighted to be joined by some of our exciting new retailers at the upcoming Jobs Fair which has broadened the variety of roles on offer. With hundreds of positions available across the centre ranging from fashion and beauty to catering and leisure, we have something to appeal to most job seekers.
“We all live busy lives and bringing retailers together like this allows job seekers the convenience of being able to speak to perspective employers, whilst stores can gain valuable insight meeting job seekers face to face. With so much competition and changing job roles, this is a refreshed approach to recruitment.”
The Jobs Fair, which is free to attend, will take place in Town Square (outside Harrods Beauty) on Friday 13th October between 5pm and 7pm and again on Saturday 14th October between 12pm and 2pm.
