Danish lifestyle brand Søstrene Grene has announced plans to open a new store at Whiteley Shopping Centre in Fareham, marking the third store in Hampshire. Known for its Scandinavian-inspired design, affordable homewares and unmistakable sense of ‘hygge’, the brand will soon bring its calming, curated shopping experience to the historic market town.
Fareham shoppers will soon be able to explore Søstrene Grene’s world of homewares, kitchen essentials, craft supplies, soft furnishings and seasonal decor. The collections offer fresh, carefully curated pieces that make it easy to add simple, stylish touches to everyday life.
Located at Whiteley Shopping Centre, the new store is designed to be more than just a place to shop. Customers will be welcomed into a calming, sensory environment, featuring soft lighting, classical music and Søstrene Grene’s signature store layout, encouraging exploration and discovery. Drawing inspiration from the Danish concept of hygge, the store offers a moment of creativity and calm, providing a quiet retreat within Hampshire for the third time.

With more than 380 stores across 17 markets, the global presence continues to grow alongside ambitious UK expansion plans where the brand aims to reach 100 stores by the end of 2027.
UK Partners, Norma Jacob and Richard Power, who operate Søstrene Grene stores across Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland and the South of England are excited about the expansion through Hampshire, with the new Fareham store.
