Søstrene Grene has announced the opening date for its first Herefordshire store, launching on Maylord Street on Friday, 7th August. The opening will bring its much-loved Scandinavian shopping experience to Hereford High Street.

The new store will offer visitors the chance to discover Søstrene Grene’s latest homewares, seasonal décor, furniture, craft collections and lifestyle accessories – all known for combining thoughtful design with accessible prices.

Located within Hereford, the new launch further strengthens Søstrene Grene’s presence across the UK, joining existing stores in neighbouring counties including Shropshire and Gloucestershire.

To celebrate opening day, the first 100 customers in the queue will receive a voucher for one of the brand’s woollen throws. Visitors can also enjoy complimentary tote bags filled with selected Søstrene Grene products, alongside live entertainment throughout the launch.

Mikkel Grene, Group CEO and co-owner of Søstrene Grene, comments: “Each new store allows us to introduce more people to the wonderful world of Søstrene Grene – a world designed to inspire creativity, curiosity and a sense of calm. Opening in Hereford marks an exciting step in our continued growth across the UK. We want every visit to feel meaningful, whether customers are discovering new ideas for their home or simply enjoying a moment of inspiration.”

With more than 400 stores worldwide, Søstrene Grene has built a strong international following for its Scandinavian-inspired homewares, crafts and lifestyle products. The brand continues to expand across the UK in response to growing demand for its distinctive in-store experience.

Head of Retail for Denmark, the UK and Ireland, René Jensen, is also looking forward to the opening of the new store.

René Jensen comments: “Our seasonal collections are designed to bring fresh inspiration into the home, with simple ideas that can make a big difference. Expanding into another area of the UK is a special moment for us and the response to Søstrene Grene in the region has already been incredibly positive.”

Søstrene Grene’s new store in Hereford will officially open on Friday, 7th August at 9:59 am.
