Starbucks expands cold beverage offer with new Cloud Frappuccino® blended beverage range

Starbucks is kicking off the summer season with the launch of its brand-new Cloud Frappuccino® blended beverage range – a trio of smooth, layered beverages combining its popular cold foam with the iconic Frappuccino®.

For Britain, summer is all about making the most of the moment – whether it’s a last-minute park meet-up or an unexpected stretch of sunshine. Starbucks new Cloud Frappuccino® blended beverages are the ideal companion for spontaneous afternoon moments, wherever and whenever they happen.

Building on the legacy of the Frappuccino® blended beverage, which celebrated 30 years as one of Starbucks most iconic beverages last year, the new range introduces three flavours – Strawberry Matcha, Brown Sugar, and Caramel Mocha – each topped with a cold foam that adds a smooth and silky elevated finish from first sip to last. Inspired by Starbucks global beverage innovation, the Cloud Frappuccino® blended beverage range reimagines a classic favourite by bringing together cream cold foam and a cold blended base to create a layered experience, where flavour and texture combine with every sip.

Sam Henderson, manager of beverage development EMEA at Starbucks, said: “We saw an exciting opportunity to reimagine one of our most iconic beverages for summer with the new Cloud Frappuccino® blended beverage range. Inspired by growing interest in texture-led drinks, we’ve brought cold foam to Frappuccino® blended beverages to create a layered, sensory experience – reimagining familiar favourites while showcasing barista craft and innovation behind every cup.”

This follows the success and growing popularity of cold foam-topped drinks in the UK, including the ’80s-inspired Crème Brûlée, last year’s Italian-inspired Tiramisu and most recently Protein Cold Foam, the new Cloud Frappuccino® blended beverages bring a modern twist to familiar favourites just in time for summer.

Alongside the new Cloud Frappuccino® blended beverages, Starbucks continues to offer its all-year-round favourites across the Refresha® and Frappuccino® platforms. Core fan favourites such as Strawberry Acai Starbucks Refresha® Drink and Cool Lime Starbucks Refresha® Drink are available now, offering vibrant fruity flavours for warmer days, the perfect choice for everyday moments outdoors.

Starbucks is also introducing a range of new food designed to complement summer moments on the go. From the Chicken and Chorizo Focaccia and Charred Chickpea and Chimichurri Wrap to bakery additions like the Raspberry and White Chocolate Cruffin, Summer Bear Cake Pop and Caramelised Biscuit Cake Cube, customers can discover their ideal pairing on the summer menu.

The Cloud Frappuccino® blended beverage range will be available to Starbucks® Rewards members from 30 April, with the full summer menu launching in stores nationwide from 7 May, including core Starbucks Refresha® drinks.

How to Sip on the Summer Menu:
