Superdrug signs reality TV queen, Gemma Collins, as ultimate Beauty Boss

Superdrug Superdrug has signed up reality TV queen Gemma Collins as the ultimate ‘Beauty Boss’ to support its seasonal offering and in-store beauty services.

Gemma will front a YouTube mini-series, Beauty Boss, where she’ll invite friends and guests to enjoy a chat and beauty treatment at her fictional Superdrug Beauty Studio. In this brilliantly funny content series, viewers step into the fantastical beauty world of The GC – the ultimate beauty boss – whist celebrities recline in the salon chair.  Her guests indulge in everything from hair make-overs and flawless make-up to dazzling nails and sun-kissed tans. Viewers will be treated to uproarious interviews filled with juicy gossip.

The first of three episodes will be available to stream from 22nd October on Superdrug’s You Tube Channel and will feature EX-TOWIE and House of Sims star Chloe Sims, who visits the ‘GC: Beauty Boss’ for a luxury gel pedicure. Gemma and Chloe discuss their misadventures from their TOWIE days, as well as all things beauty, dating and their Superdrug Beauty Studio treatments.

Episodes 2 & 3, airing on 6th November and 4th December respectively, will see podcaster and You-tuber, Adeola Patronne, join Gemma in the Beauty Salon to delight over Black Friday steals and unwrap favourite Christmas gifts from Superdrug’s showstopping line up.

Gemma brings her sass to store with striking in-store imagery that encourages Superdrug customers to embrace their inner beauty diva.  She will also be sharing her personal favourite Superdrug items throughout the partnership.

Gemma said: “I am so excited about this partnership with Superdrug, because since a young girl it was my go-to place. It’s always fun shopping at Superdrug and gets even better when checking out at the till with all the fabulous extras like members pricing and VIP Rewards.  It’s literally like heaven to me. I wanted to get involved in this campaign because everyone has had a bit of a year with the cost of living crisis but there’s so many amazing offers at Superdrug. Father Christmas and Mrs Claus really have come to town this Christmas at Superdrug.”
