Taylor's Special Reserve PortTaylor’s, the historic Port House, today unveils Taylor’s Special Reserve, a new addition to its range created to bring the distinctive Taylor’s house style to more occasions and more moments of enjoyment.

Launching exclusively in Tesco stores across the UK, Taylor’s Special Reserve broadens the house’s offering with an accessible expression designed for relaxed and informal occasions. Priced at £14, it offers consumers a new way to enjoy Taylor’s, sitting alongside established favourites such as Taylor’s Late Bottled Vintage.

As consumer preferences evolve, Taylor’s is responding by offering greater choice across different occasions and price points, while remaining true to the quality and character for which the house has been known for generations. Whether shared with friends, enjoyed after dinner or simply poured at the end of the day, Special Reserve is designed to make it easier to find an occasion for Taylor’s.

The bottle design pays homage to more than three centuries of Taylor’s heritage, from 1692 to the present day. Presented in the house’s traditional black bottle and finished with a red capsule, Taylor’s historic crest and classic typography, the release draws on the house’s unmistakable visual identity, giving the new expression a strong and recognisably Taylor’s presence on shelf.

A rich, fruit-forward Reserve Ruby Port, Taylor’s Special Reserve combines generous dark fruit flavours with the balance and structure characteristic of the Taylor’s house style. Ready to serve and enjoy straight from the bottle, it is a versatile Port particularly suited to informal gatherings, relaxed evenings at home and an after-dinner glass.

Adrian Bridge, managing director of Taylor’s, says: “Taylor’s has been part of British tables for generations, and we want that to continue. Our Late Bottled Vintage remains a firm favourite, but consumers increasingly want choice across different occasions and price points. Special Reserve gives them another way to enjoy Taylor’s – an accessible, generous Port that is easy to share, while retaining the quality and character people expect from us.”

Taylor’s Special Reserve Port will be available exclusively at Tesco stores across the UK, priced at £14.
