Tesco nightclub: tickets LIVE & headliners announced

Tesco nightclubTesco is opening ‘Club Card’ – an immersive, nostalgic clubbing experience across two days in July, to celebrate 30 years of rewards through Tesco Clubcard. Taking place at the Vinyl Factory, London, Tesco will be hosting the ultimate throwback party exclusively for Clubcard members2, with tickets available to book now via Eventbrite.

With 90s nostalgia showing no signs of slowing down, whether you’re desperate to reminisce or keen to try a total 90s night out for the first time ever, visitors will be able to party like it’s 1995 (the same year Clubcard launched) at the ultimate throwback party.

Taking it back to the glory days, there will be an exclusive headline set from iconic boyband Blue on Friday 4th; expect a high-energy performance packed with throwback hits like ‘One Love’ and ‘All Rise’. On Saturday night (5th), get ready to shout ‘c’est la vie!’ as B*Witched hit the stage for a one-night only performance, with the Irish pop icons serving up their chart-topping hits in a set guaranteed to unleash your inner denim diva.

Beyond the headliners at Club Card, a DJ will be bringing the vibes all weekend long, spinning a nonstop mix of 90s and 00s classics across every session. But the nostalgia doesn’t stop at the music- the two-day party is packed with throwback touches including a ‘Little Tesco’ bar serving favourites like Smirnoff Ices, J2Os and Blue WKD, a Pick ‘n’ Mix sweet stand to keep partygoers energised, and even a ‘Tattoo Station’ where they can apply some nostalgic temporary tattoos – a real blast from the past.

And there will be giveaways galore; visitors to Club Card can try their luck at the ‘Unexpected Item Arcade’, featuring a claw grabber arcade machine packed with prizes including 90s inspired bucket hats and Tesco gift cards. Guests can also win prizes from Clubcard Reward Partners including SpaSeekers, Merlin Entertainments, Hotels.com, Cineworld, Choc on Choc, and Disney by digging through a vibrant pool filled with balls. With a treasure trove of prizes up for grabs, Tesco is reminding everyone that Clubcard gives you more with its first ever club.

The club itself will be filled with inflatable furniture, neon lights, retro TVs and a vibrant DJ booth, just like the good old days. Each ticket costs £5 which gives entry to Club Card, and three2 drinks to enjoy during the event, plus your chance to win all those goodies and plenty of little extras too. Proceeds will be donated 50/50 to FareShare and Trussell.

Clubbers will also be happy to hear that each session at Club Card will finish before midnight as 45%3 of the nation now prefers a daytime party as opposed to staying up until the early hours of the morning. Whether revellers will be continuing the party elsewhere in Soho afterwards or will be taking their dancing shoes straight home with them, the great value event is another way Tesco Clubcard is rewarding customers this year.

Tesco’s retro themed ‘Club Card’ is open for bookings now, exclusively for Clubcard members. Tickets are limited, but a small number of walk-in tickets4 will be available to purchase in person on the day for each session.

So grab your bucket hat, charge your Nokia 3310, and get ready to experience Clubcard like never before.
