Leading food innovation company, The Flava People, has further bolstered its sales and operations teams with the appointment of four new recruits, reinforcing its commitment to driving innovation and accelerating growth.
The new hires include:
- Amie Duxbury – national account manager
- Lyndsey Evans – category lead
- Kirsty Hart – B2B national account manager
- Christian Smith – supply chain manager
These strategic appointments come at a pivotal time for the business, as The Flava People continues to build strong momentum in retail, securing increased product listings and deepening relationships with key buyers.
As part of this evolution, the company has also made an operational move—transitioning from its long-standing distribution partner, Petty Wood, to Windfall Logistics. This shift supports The Flava People’s vision to foster more direct, collaborative, and longer-term retailer relationships, enabling them to further leverage its approach to flavour innovation whilst responding swiftly to consumer food trends.
Comments Scott Dixon, managing director: “Our unique position as both a brand owner/manager and a manufacturer allows us to bring concepts to shelf with a speed and efficiency that sets us apart, meaning we can deliver at a speed that very few (if any!) competitors can in our categories.
Continues Dixon: “With the food and flavour world evolving rapidly, our transition from Petty Wood and investment in our team will give us the agility to further drive first-to-market innovations. This shift has already resulted in new retail listings and strengthened our capability to respond to shifting consumer needs. At the heart of this success is our collaborative team, and we are committed to growing our talent pool to fuel further expansion. With our new Sales and Operations hires, we are reinforcing our focus on building deeper strategic relationships, grounded in credibility, category insight, and data-led decision-making.”
The Flava People’s commitment to expanding its team (from 72 to 93 full time employees) highlights its remarkable growth over the past year and there is further recruitment planned to support this ongoing momentum, with the company on track to achieve its ambitious turnover target of £14.7 million by February 2026 and to nearly double revenue to £22 million by 2028.
With nearly 50 years of flavour expertise, The Flava People is well-positioned to scale across omni-industry channels—including retail, UK manufacturing, and foodservice to delivering flavour innovation through a diverse portfolio of owned brands, bespoke solutions, and brand-licensed products.
