The LEGO GroupLEGO® fans in Manchester are in for a treat, as the LEGO Group announce the LEGO Store Arndale will relocate to a bigger store this summer.

The LEGO Store Arndale has been delighting shoppers in the city for almost 15 years and has a strong following of fans of all ages. The new and improved store will offer visitors opportunities to fully immerse themselves in the world of LEGO building, with imagination and creativity throughout the store, including:

  • LEGO Pick a Brick Wall: a great way for customers to select the exact elements that they require for their builds.
  • Hands-on Play Opportunities: including free build challenges and events each month.
  • Build a Minifigure Tower: visitors can mix and match from a wide selection of bottoms, tops, heads, hair pieces and accessories to customise LEGO minifigures.
  • Store Associates: whether customers are picking out a gift, looking for the latest set, or bringing a LEGO fan in for a special treat, the LEGO team can help find the perfect set for everyone.

Shweta Munshi, Vice President of Marketing, LEGO Retail at the LEGO Group: “We are delighted to share that we are relocating our LEGO Store Arndale. We are continually investing in our store portfolio and this new store will be a top retail destination for product launches and events, while acting as a hub for our LEGO community and new builders alike.”

Steve Gray, Head of European Retail Asset Management at Global Mutual, joint asset managers of Manchester Arndale, said: “It is great to see the LEGO Group commit its long-term future to Manchester Arndale with a new larger store. The LEGO Store is one of our most popular retailers and we expect their enhanced space will attract even more shoppers. The commitment of leading retailers such as the LEGO Group highlights the belief international brands have in Manchester Arndale which continues to attract visitors from across the North West and beyond.”

The official opening date and details for in-store events will be announced soon.

There are currently 20 LEGO Stores in the UK and the Arndale Store relocation will provide visitors with an upgraded store that showcases the very best LEGO Brand experiences to our much loved community. This follows an extremely successful year for The LEGO Group in 2024 opening stores in Cribbs Mall, Bristol and across Europe.
