The LEGO GroupLEGO® fans in Leeds and Sheffield are in for a treat, as the LEGO Group announces two LEGO Stores will relocate to a larger space in Meadowhall Sheffield and Trinity Leeds this spring.

Both the LEGO Store in Sheffield and Leeds has been delighting shoppers in the city for over 15 years and has a strong following of fans of all ages. The new and improved 389 sqm store in Sheffield and 456 sqm in Leeds, will offer visitors the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the world of LEGO building, with imagination and creativity throughout the store, including:

  • LEGO Pick a Brick Wall: unleash your creativity and bring your ideas to life with LEGO Pick a Brick! Whether you’re searching for the perfect piece to complete your masterpiece, starting a brand-new build, or customise an existing LEGO set, it’s all possible with Pick a Brick
  • Hands-on Play Opportunities: shoppers are encouraged to join free build challenges and events in-store – designed to inspire builders of tomorrow though hands-on play. Find more information about upcoming events at LEGO.com/Stores.
  • Build a Minifigure Tower: shoppers can create their own LEGO Minifigures by mixing and matching from a wide selection of heads, torsos, legs, hair pieces and accessories.
  • ‘Brick Specialists’: whether it’s selecting a gift for a loved one, looking for the latest set or bringing a LEGO enthusiast family member or friend in-store for a special treat, Brick Specialists are on hand to ensure a signature experience is provided through engaged and personal customer service.

Shweta Munshi, vice president of marketing, LEGO Retail at the LEGO Group: “We are delighted to share that we are relocating our LEGO Sheffield and Leeds Stores. We are continually investing in our store portfolio, and this new store will be a top retail destination for product launches and events, while acting as a hub for our LEGO community and new builders alike.”

Darren Pearce, centre director at Meadowhall, said: “It’s brilliant to see The LEGO Store move to a larger unit within Meadowhall, giving fans of all ages an even bigger place to explore everything the brand has to offer. The store has proved hugely popular with visitors for the last 15-years, and the move will mean shoppers can browse even more of the LEGO range and add to their collections.”

Steven Foster, centre director at Trinity Leeds, said: “The LEGO Group’s move into a bigger location is fantastic news for our visitors. The relocation reflects the brand’s continued success at the centre and allows the LEGO Group to significantly enhance its offer. The increased space will bring a wider product range, more opportunities for creativity and a better shopping experience for families and fans of all ages.”

The official opening date and details for in-store events will be announced soon.

There are currently 21 LEGO Stores across the UK, and the relocation of the Sheffield and Leeds store will offer shoppers an upgraded space that showcases the very best LEGO brand experiences for our much-loved community. This follows an exceptionally successful year for the LEGO Group in 2025, with new store openings in Belfast and across Europe, and plans for a new Oxford store in 2026.
