The LEGO Group has confirmed plans to open its 22nd UK store at Westgate Oxford. The new 250M2 LEGO® Store will be home to unforgettable immersive experiences, expert guidance from Brick Specialists, plus access to exclusive in-store offerings.

  • Unforgettable immersive experiences – including Pick a Brick Wall and Build a Minifigure Tower.

  • Exclusive products – the LEGO Store Oxford will be home to the largest range of LEGO products including many exclusive sets such as the LEGO ® Icons Star Trek: U.S.S Enterprise NCC-1701-D™ and the LEGO Icons Stranger Things: The Creel House

  • Rewarding offers – guests at the new store will also have the opportunity to collect LEGO Insiders loyalty programme points which can be used for discounts on future purchases or exclusive member offers.

  • Local recruitment – in the new year the store will be on the hunt for Brick Specialists, who will be at the heart of making the shopping experience fun for all guests.

Shweta Munshi, vice president marketing, LEGO Retail at the LEGO Group, said: “We are delighted to expand the LEGO Retail store portfolio by opening our first store in Oxford. We have found the perfect site at Westgate Oxford, and the new store will allow builders of all ages to be inspired by the endless play opportunities LEGO building has to offer. This store will be a top destination for product launches and events, while acting as a hub for our LEGO community and new builders alike.”

Brendan Hattam, centre director at Westgate Oxford, commented: “We are thrilled to announce the opening of the region’s first LEGO store. The arrival of such a globally recognised brand underscores Westgate Oxford’s commitment to offering the best retail lineup possible. We look forward to announcing more details about the brand’s arrival, including an opening date, in due course.”

The new LEGO Store takes the total number of stores in the UK up to 22 including Victoria Square in Belfast and Trafford Centre in Manchester and demonstrates the LEGO Group’s commitment to physical retail and providing exciting experiences for their guests.

Details of when the LEGO Store Oxford will open will be announced soon and any future Brick Specialists should keep an eye on LEGO.com/careers for future job opportunities.
