As the temperatures rise and the days lengthen, one beverage is poised to take centre stage on patios, rooftops, and gatherings: the Spritz! With its refreshing combination of bubbles, tantalising flavours, and effortless sophistication, the Spritz has emerged as the quintessential drinks trend that will keep you refreshed all summer.

Originating from the Veneto region of Italy, the Spritz has been a beloved cocktail for generations. However, its popularity has grown in recent years. Last year, the Spritz was the 5th most popular cocktail sold in the UK on-trade according to *1 CGA Mixed Drinks Report.

The high consumer demand has led regions worldwide to champion their brands and take on the signature cocktail.

*2 Proof Intelligence The Future of Cocktails, Q3 2023, reports that 92% of drinkers value flavour profile as the most important factor when selecting a cocktail. *2 According to the same report, ‘fruity’ is the number one flavour cocktail drinkers want to see more of in menus, with passion fruit as the second favourite choice of flavour.

With these key factors in mind, Passoã, the original passion fruit liqueur crafted from real passion fruit, has created the ‘Passoã Spritz’. Passoã is the number 1 passion fruit liqueur sold globally. Used in the original Pornstar Martini recipe, it takes a new avenue and is the obvious choice for spritz drinkers this summer. Aside from its alluring pink glitz, it is the perfect sip for a Barbiecore aesthetic social media moment. It offers drinkers a sweet and fruity upgrade of the regular spritz.

Its tropical all-natural passion fruit flavour and iconic pink colour are ideal for picnics and parties once temperatures soar. Here is how to perfect the spritz:

Three parts Prosecco

1 part soda water
