TikTok introduces TikTok Shop exclusively for businesses based in Spain

Across Spain, 20 million people come to TikTok every month to be entertained and inspired by content they find from their favorite creators and new ones they discover each day – including the latest trends, fashion and beauty tips, recipes and gifts.

Today we’re excited to announce a new way for our community in Spain to discover and shop directly from Spanish sellers and brands as TikTok Shop opens for business.

TikTok Shop will bring shoppable videos and LIVE shopping directly to For You feeds, giving local Spanish sellers and creators the ability to sell directly through shoppable content on the app.

TikTok Shop is proud to connect its growing community in Spain with local sellers such as Oh Juliette (@ohjuliettestore), a family-owned party dress business. One of its owners, Ana Saboixeda, explains:

“TikTok has been a very efficient sales channel so far. It has allowed users in different parts of the world to discover and connect with us. We are excited to take the next step and open our TikTok Shop to further explore the potential of the platform.

TikTok’s sustained commitment to fostering the development of the economy in Spain connects with the arrival of TikTok Shop, which brings Spanish-based businesses closer to the platform’s users.

This is the case of Cocunat (@cocunat), the digital native cosmetics brand, which opens its doors on TikTok Shop, with years of experience on the platform. Marta Jodar, CMO of de Cocunat explains:

“TikTok has played a key role in Cocunat’s most important campaigns throughout our history. Our experience and knowledge of the platform means that the launch of Cocunat’s TikTok Shop marks a new milestone in connecting with our established TikTok community, and allowing us to continue to reach new users. We are very much looking forward to what is to come.”

TikTok is creating a new culture that blends entertainment and shopping, inspiring people to discover and share products they love. The experience is unique to each user, tailored to what they enjoy on TikTok.

Features to take the safe shopping experience to the next level

TikTok Shop lands in Spain with a range of unique features on the market that will allow sellers to connect in a unique and exclusive way with their audiences, boosting sales.

  • LIVE Shopping: LIVE Shopping allows sellers and creators to seamlessly integrate products into a livestream session. This offers an engaging real-time shopping experience, which blends the physical store experience with the convenience of online shopping. Sellers can showcase their products live, while buyers can ask questions and be answered in real time while interacting with the community on the livestream. LIVE shopping allows sellers in Spain to deepen their engagement with buyers by interacting in real time to show products via live demonstrations and try ons, offer exclusive discounts and host giveaways.
  • Direct access to purchase products in the For You Feed: TikTok’s short videos, appearing in the For You Feed, will showcase products that can be purchased directly on the platform. This offers sellers a native solution to add products to videos organically and creatively. Shoppers click on the link and are directed to product detail pages, which allow viewers to pay directly.
  • Product Showcase: Browse product tiles, read reviews, and purchase directly from a favorite brand’s profile. Businesses can curate custom product collections directly on their profile page.
  • Affiliate Program: Creators can connect with sellers through new commission-based product marketing opportunities. Creators have a new way to monetize their creativity by sharing products in short videos and livestreams, and sellers can choose the Affiliate plan that’s the right fit for their brand.
  • Shop Ads: New TikTok Shop Ads bring more opportunities for sellers to promote their TikTok Shops, so customers can discover and complete purchases all within TikTok.
  • Secure Checkout: TikTok works with trusted third party payment platforms to facilitate transactions on TikTok Shop, to ensure a quick, smooth, and secure checkout process.

An easy shopping experience

Through the usual navigation in the For You Feed, users will be able to discover and identify items that are for sale on TikTok Shop. When they see them, they can click on them to enter the product page and access more information, such as colors, dimensions, shipping and return details. They will even be able to contact the seller of the product in this space.

If they are determined to make the purchase, they can click on the purchase button of the TikTok Shop.

Once you start the purchase process, by clicking on the Buy Now button, you can make the transaction immediately, or you can choose to add the product to the cart, to group it with other items or buy it later. Once you decide what you want to buy, you can place the order, including your shipping information, and once completed, they will receive confirmation that the order has been placed successfully.

Opening a Shop in TikTok Shop!

Businesses that are established in Spain, and are interested in starting to sell on TikTok Shop, can access the TikTok Shop Seller Center to register as of February 2025. Stores will be able to find registration instructions on the TikTok Shop Academy in Spain, where businesses, creators and customers can access educational content.

TikTok is here to make sure users have an entertaining, positive and safe shopping experience in the app, before, during and after the purchase.
