Vagabond scored seven medal-winning wines at the Independent English Wine Awards 2026 and took home two prestigious trophies:
Producer of the Year
Best Alt / Experimental Still Wine

Christobell Giles, managing director of Vagabond, said: “I’m so incredibly proud of the Vagabond team. These awards are a real testament to the passion and expertise of everyone right across our business, but especially our wonderful winemakers.“Thanks to the backing of Majestic Wine Group and Fortress Investment Group, we moved to our amazing new Urban Winery in Canada Water last December, where we can now produce 100,000 bottles of award-winning wine every year. We’re looking forward to helping even more wine lovers enjoy a locally produced glass of something special.”

Jose Quintana, Winemaker at Vagabond, said: “Taking home the Producer of the Year award and seeing seven of our wines pick up medals at the IEWA means so much to us. We’ve always done things our own way at Vagabond, and this award proves that you don’t need to follow conventions to make top-tier wines. Urban winemaking isn’t just a quirky experiment any more – it’s delivering serious, high-quality wines that our guests absolutely love. And we’re only just getting started.”
