Leading cash handling experts Volumatic have joined forces with EPOS solution providers MHouse Business Solutions to offer more efficient, accurate and streamlined cash processing to convenience retailers in Scotland and beyond.
MHouse Business Solutions, based in Motherwell, Scotland, work predominantly with Scottish-based convenience stores, including Nisa, SPAR and Morrisons Daily, and though their portfolio the company is now expanding across the UK. With over 40 years of experience in retail, owners (and brothers) Asif and Faisal Sattar are committed to always finding a superior experience for retailers when it comes to technology.
Working with Volumatic’s technical team, MHouse were introduced to the many benefits of the CountEasy TS currency scales and were keen to integrate the cutting-edge touchscreen scales with their EPOS system to offer customers an even more attractive solution.
Volumatic’s Scotland account manager, Tom Walker, said: “Over the last year, we have worked to integrate the CountEasy TS into MHouse’s EPOS system, and there are plans to integrate other cash handling solutions in the near future, including Volumatic’s award-winning all-in-one solution, the CCi.”
SPAR stores in Scotland will be some of the first to see the newly integrated EPOS solution, including the CountEasy TS technology, on the MHouse stand at the upcoming Spar Scotland ‘Raising the Bar’ Tradeshow 2024, taking place on 26 September in Aviemore, Scotland, which will give Spar retailers a hands-on demonstration of all the benefits, including:
- Speedier cash counting – count a till drawer in less than a minute
- Speedy float preparation
- Quick spot checks
- Improved accuracy – minimising manual cash counting and human error
- Fast and accurate reconciliation – uploads count data to MHouse’s EPOS system at the push of a button
MHouse CEO Faisal Sattar said: “Our new partnership with Volumatic allows MHouse to offer our customers a method of streamlining their cash processes, which should, in turn, allow them to focus more on customer service – which is so important to all our retailers.”
Tom Walker added: “We are always keen to explore new partnerships that make retailers lives easier and our partnership with MHouse is key in helping more convenience stores find better and more efficient ways of cash processing. We hope the CountEasy TS integration will be a big success and hope to be working alongside MHouse and their other customers for many years to come.”
