wagamama sparks a summer scorcher with Buldak’s biggest ever UK national partnership

wagamamawagamama is set to turn up the heat this summer by becoming the first major national restaurant chain in the UK to partner with iconic South Korean instant noodle and sauce brand, Buldak.

Launching in restaurants nationwide on 17th June, this innovative new food collab is Buldak’s biggest ever UK national partnership bringing the viral “spicy or nothing” energy of the brand’s world-famous sauces directly to the wagamama bench.

At the heart of the launch is the integration of Buldak’s signature sauce into wagamama’s pan-Asian cuisine, inspired by Korean dishes and Buldak’s legendary fiery kick. The new menu is designed for those who live for the thrill of the chill.

The exclusive menu additions include:

 

MAIN

Buldak bibimbap

A vibrant wagamama reimaging of the Korean “mixed rice” classic.

 

A base of kimchee fried rice is topped with tender beef brisket. Fiery sauce is balanced out perfectly with baby corn, green beans, and red pepper.

 

Of course, all topped off with a generous drizzle of the signature Buldak hot sauce and garnished with tangy pickled red cabbage.

 

SIDE

Buldak fire wings

A side dish that is, literally, too hot to handle.

 

Perfect for sharing, these crispy chicken wings are coated in the fiery signature sauce.

 

Each wing is finished with a crunch of fried shallots, toasted sesame seeds, and fresh ramen-cut spring onions.

For true spice-seekers who believe there is no such thing as “too hot”, wagamama will also offer extra Buldak sauce on request, allowing guests to fully customise their heat levels.

The collaboration arrives as Korean cuisine continues to dominate food trends. By partnering with an iconic brand like Buldak in a UK first, wagamama aims to drive excitement among Gen-Z audiences and for all guests who love bold flavours who already celebrate the Buldak brand’s bold flavours and viral cultural presence.

The Buldak fire wings and Buldak bibimbap will be available in all UK restaurants and for delivery on Deliveroo and Uber Eats, starting 17th June 2026.
