Weetabix rolls out new OOH campaign

WeetabixWeetabix, the UK’s favourite breakfast cereal, has launched a new OOH campaign reminding consumers of its powerful ‘Have You Had Yours?’ line in a new and playful manner. The series of adverts taps into familiar text conversations, the kind that make us all dig deep before we press send on our reply!

Each execution presents a different scenario; from accidentally hitting reply all, to your grown-up child asking if they can move back home, through to the realisation you have to take the bus replacement. The reply to these simple conversations is three Weetabix in the style of an ‘ellipsis’ filling the awkward silence with the energy only Weetabix can provide[2]! A gentle nod to the fact Weetabix prepares you for absolutely anything life throws at you, and that some situations call for a 3 bix breakfast!

The campaign will run from 21st April until 4th May, posters will be displayed in 150 different London Underground stations, and digital versions will be displayed during commuter hours via escalator panels at Tottenham Court Road, Victoria and Bank and on digital runways at Farringdon and Canary Wharf, plus 100 other rail stations. Designed to remind consumers of the Weetabix Advantage, the campaign is set to drive shoppers into store to stock up on their favourite breakfast cereal.

Lorraine Rothwell, head of band at Weetabix, comments: “We love that this campaign leans in to our much-loved ‘Have You Had Yours?’ ethos. It’s very relatable, and a good reminder that it’s important to have your breakfast! We hope commuters smile as they see our cheeky adverts, and if they haven’t already had their breakfast to make sure they get something before they start their day. A bowl of Weetabix is made from 100% wholegrain wheat and is enriched with vitamins and iron, making it a great option to start your day with. We really do believe the Weetabix advantage equips you for your day ahead, whatever life throws at you!”
