Blake Lively’s Betty Buzz brandWhole Foods Market, the world’s leading natural and organic retailer, has partnered with American actress and celebrity entrepreneur Blake Lively to launch her non-alcoholic drinks brand, Betty Buzz, exclusively in the UK.

Lively’s low-calorie, vegan mixers use real juice and no artificial flavours, sweeteners or colours. The range of five flavours includes Sparkling Grapefruit, Meyer Lemon Club Soda and Ginger Beer, which are perfect on their own or mixed with either conventional or zero-proof spirits.

Betty Buzz will start to appear in flagship Whole Foods Market stores from May, with a full roll out from June this year, making it the ideal drink of choice for everything from summer barbeques to picnics in the park.

Jade Hoai, Executive Leader of Purchasing in the UK, comments “This summer, we have a range of initiatives that celebrate the great tastes of the States and seeing Betty Buzz on the shelves is the (US) cherry on the top.  Whole Foods Market is often the first choice for great American brands, and as big fans of the range, we are buzzing to be the exclusive UK retailer.

“With 8.4 million UK adults choosing not to drink alcohol and the rise in demand for NoLo or low and non-alcoholic drinks in recent years, it’s important we offer a range of high quality and delicious drink options that not only taste great, but suit a variety of occasions and drinking preferences.”

As a non-drinker, Blake Lively recognised how non-alcoholic mixers are the unsung heroes of the drinks world and deserve just as much attention and love as alcohol.

The Betty Buzz range includes a range of fresh and fruity flavours such as Ginger Beer, Sparkling Lemon Lime, Sparking Grapefruit and Meyer Lemon Club Soda.

Betty Buzz Ginger Beer 266ml, bottle: £2.49, 4-pack: £8.99: This delectable ginger beer provides a clean, fresh ginger taste with the perfect balance of spice. This drink works to pair with Rum, Tequila, Vodka or Whiskey or enjoy on its own.

Betty Buzz Sparkling Lemon Lime 266ml, bottle: £2.49, 4-pack: £8.99: This delicious sparking lemon lime is crafted with real Meyer lemon and lime juice, agave and a touch of sea salt. Pair it with Tequila for a ridiculously refreshing margarita alternative, mix with Vodka or enjoy its refreshing taste on its own.

Betty Buzz Sparkling Grapefruit 266ml, bottle: £2.49, 4-pack: £8.99: Delivers a tangy, lightly sweet and fresh citrus hit with 24% real pink grapefruit juice. Pair it with Tequilla, Mezcal, Vodka or Gin, or simply drink on its own.

Betty Buzz Meyer Lemon Club Soda 266ml, bottle: £2.49, 4-pack: £8.99: Light, bright and citrusy with real Meyer London juice and a touch of sea salt. This drink it perfect to pair with Vodka, Whiskey, Tequila or Gin and a delightful alternative to the average Club Soda.
