Wingstop UK, the restaurant brand that doesn’t play when it comes to flavour, announces results for the 9 months ended 29 December 2024.
Wingstop UK has changed its year-end to December. The first 3 months of 2024 are covered in the period ended 31 March 2024. Going forward the accounts will be for 12 months to December.
Financial highlights- 9 months
- Revenue of £125m (12 months to March 2024 of £84.7m)
- Operating profit of £13.7m (12 months to March 2024 of £4.1m)
- 15 new stores opened in the period with strong underlying sales from the existing estate
Operational highlights
- Senior leadership team formed of Chris Sherriff, CEO, Paddy Bamford, CFO, Matt Sheppard, COO, Faye Ryder-Humphries, People Director and Dirujan Sabesan, CMO
- 57 stores opened at period end
- Recognised in The Sunday Times’ Best Places to Work and Fast Track 100, as well as Financial Times’ FT1000
Post-period highlights
- Investment from Sixth Street, completed in January 2025, as majority shareholder to drive future growth. Ambitions to reach 200 stores within the next five years
- Opened a further 15 sites in the UK, now employing over 3,000 people
- Current trading in-line with expectations, supported by deep connection with loyal customers and communities and industry-leading Net Promoter Scores

The Step Up Programme is an end-to-end leadership programme where Crew Members can grow to become District Managers and beyond. Wingstop University offers specialised training, online modules and expert learning sessions, alongside L&D awards and success stories. Wingstop UK also offers external courses; CIPDs, MBAs, Marketing, First Aid, Food Safety and Executive Coaching.
