Wingstop UKWingstop UK, the ultimate experience for iconic wing flavours to enjoy with family and friends, has officially landed in Peterborough. To celebrate the highly-anticipated launch, the first 100 people through the door will receive free chicken wings.

Located in the heart of the city on the corner of Long Causeway and Cathedral Square, the new site spans 1,878 sq. ft and hosts 72 covers. Diners can expect the full Wingstop UK menu of wings, tenders, burgers and sides.

Today’s opening advances Wingstop UK’s ambitious growth plans in the UK, with more than 20 new locations set to launch by the end of the year. Since launching in the UK in 2018, Wingstop UK has grown to 66 sites and now employs over 2,700 people nationwide.

Wingstop UK’s continued popularity is driven by its standout product and unique marketing approach that has garnered a loyal following from a younger demographic. Fans resonate with Wingstop UK’s ties to music, fashion, and sports, which has been created via authentic brand collaborations, partnerships and events.

Last month, Wingstop UK was recognised in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025, and was highly commended for Best Places to Work for Ethnic Minority Employees. With standout initiatives like the Step-Up Programme, designed to equip aspiring managers with the skills they need to succeed, Wingstop UK fosters a positive, inclusive and collaborative culture.

Chris Sherriff, CEO at Wingstop UK, said: “Peterborough has been on our radar for a while, and we’re excited to finally bring our signature flavour to the city this June. Long Causeway, a bustling spot in the heart of the city centre, is the ideal location for us to meet local demand. As we continue expanding across the UK, we’re focused on delivering delicious food, great vibes, and standout experiences for our fans.”
